Reports released by market research firm Strategy Analytic show that the Appple Inc. iPad has the lion share of the world's tablet computer market and accounts for 95 percent.

The total sales of world tablet computers in the third quarter reached 44 million, of which Apple Inc. accounts for 42 million, according to the report. Android tablet PC ranks the second with only 2.3 percent market share.
