Kingston Technology urges SSD uptake now!
Updated:2010-11-30 10:43

Kingston Technology division Kingston Digital Europe has launched an online sales tool tailored to help the channel increase SSD sales.

The Kingston SSDNow RoI calculator is a widget which resellers can download and embed directly on their web sites, or host on their desktop. It allows them to input the specific company information of a customer and the average number of drive fail times, and demonstrate to them how SSD will save them money in the long run.

Kingston Digital claimed the price of SSDs has reached a sweet spot which will allow enterprises to achieve cost savings by upgrading a system with an SSD for about a third of the cost compared to buying a new laptop, desktop or workstation.

Gill Taylor, EMEA channel marketing manager at Kingston Technology Europe, said: “Adding to the already existing SSD content on our partner programme web site, the SSDNow toolkit allows channel partners to work with their enterprise customers to identify the impact SSDs can have on PCs to improve business performance, demonstrate cost savings and reduce business risk.

“We know that SSDNow drives offer compelling benefits, and we are committed to helping our partners share them with their customers and generate new sales,” she said.

The Kingston SSDNow toolkit is available in Dutch, English, French, Italian, German, Polish and Spanish
